Exam Terminology: The exams provided by the ‘Company’ as part of the ‘Service’ are practice tests based on the College Board's official SAT exam. The SAT exam consists of a total of 4 Modules and 2 Sections (or subjects): Section 1 Module 1, Section 1 Module 2, Section 2 Module 1, and Section 2 Module 2. This structure is also applied to the practice tests created by the ‘Company’.
Types of Exams: The exams provided by the ‘Company’ as part of the ‘Service’ are categorized as follows:
(1) Full Test: An exam setting that allows users to take both the Reading and Writing subject and the Math subject.
(2) Reading and Writing (RW) Test: An exam setting that allows users to take only the Reading and Writing subject.
(3) Math (MA) Test: An exam setting that allows users to take only the Math subject.
(4) Adaptive Test: An exam setting where the difficulty of Module 2 automatically adjusts based on the test taker’s score of Module 1.
(5) Fixed Test: An exam setting where the difficulty of Module 2 is determined by the user’s selected difficulty level, regardless of the test taker’s Module 1 score.
(6) In regards to naming conventions, items 1-3 and 4-5 can be combined. (For example, a Full Adaptive Test means an exam setting where both RW and MA subjects are taken simultaneously, and the difficulty of Module 2 automatically adjusts based on the score of Module 1).
GATE KEY (Test Ticket): A form of service usage ticket that ‘Members’ need to purchase to use Company’s ‘Service’. The use of GATE KEY varies according to the type of ‘Member’ and follows these rules:
(1) For ‘Student’ members, 2 GATE KEYs is equivalent to setting 1 Full Adaptive Test.
(2) For Institutional Administrators’, ‘Academy Teachers’, and ‘Private Tutors’, 1 GATE KEY is equivalent to setting 1 RW Test or 1 MA Test (regardless of whether it is Adaptive or Fixed). Therefore, 2 GATE KEYs are required to set up 1 Full Test (regardless of whether it is Adaptive or Fixed).
